Quick Overview

A striking, geometric Largo Print by Tom Pigeon.

This beautifully simple, abstract print measures 59.4cm x 42cm (A2) and celebrates the character and geography of Largo, a small fishing village on the East coast of Scotland. It is a hand-pulled three-colour print on 270gsm Bright White Paper and has metallic copper foil detailing. We love its pared-back confidence and style.

Tom Pigeon live and work in the East Neuk of Fife, a string of traditional fishing villages on the East coast of Scotland. This eponymous Largo Print is a homage to one of their local villages. The Largo Print is an open edition, signed A2 screen print, printed in Pea Green, Spearmint and Charcoal Grey with a Copper metallic foil on heavyweight 270gsm Fenner Colorset bright white, recycled paper.

The Largo Print has a stylish interplay of shine, texture and block colour. It is hand-pulled using water-based inks in a Glasgow print workshop tucked away under a railway arch, and traditionally foiled in the North West of England.

The Tom Pigeon Studio is based in Cellardyke, a tiny fishing village on the East coast of Scotland. The studio was an old fisherman’s net loft, where previously nets were mended and dried, fish was salted and lines were baited.

Tom and Kirsty moved up to Cellardyke eight years ago to get away from the city, and to live a quieter life.
